About the SR PT

The best thermal security cameras in the business, now with a fully integrated Pan/Tilt option

FLIR’s powerful SR-Series thermal security cameras complement and extend your security camera network. They turn night into day, allowing you to see intruders invisible to the naked eye.

The new Pan/Tilt option is tough, fully integrated with the camera, and has a proven Pelco D interface for reliable, trouble-free use.

For further information on the SR Series thermal imaging cameras click here or click the image below.

They include FLIR’s advanced image processing techniques which deliver excellent contrast regardless of scene dynamics.

Unlike other night vision systems that require low amounts of light to generate an image, the SR PT-19, SR PT-35, SR PT-50, SR PT-100, and SR PT-100P need no light at all.

Different Lenses:
Different users have different needs. Longer lenses have a narrower field of view and give you the possibility to see targets which are further away. The SR PT-19 is equipped with a 19 mm wide angle lens. It gives you an extremely wide field of view (36°), so that you can cover a large area and keep excellent situational awareness.

Lensing:
The SR-35 equipped with a 35 mm lens, has a horizontal field of view of 20°. The SR PT-50, with a 50 mm lens, has a field of view of 14°. Both are extremely suited for short range threat detection in all circumstances. Equipped with a 100 mm lens, the SR PT-100 is designed for longer range security and surveillance applications. It has a 7° field of view and can be focused over RS-232 or RS-422 protocol. With the SR PT-100 you will be able to detect a man-sized target at a distance of almost 2km.

Features

Crisp Thermal Images: 320x340 pixels

The SR PT-19, SR PT-35, SR PT-50 and SR PT-100 provide crisp, clear thermal imaging with 320 x 240 pixels.

This allows the user to see more detail and detect more and smaller objects. Advanced internal camera software delivers a crisp image without the need for user adjustments.

They provide high quality thermal imaging in any night- or daytime environmental conditions.

The Johnson Criteria assumes that the critical dimension for a human being is 0.75 meters. To get DRI, you need 1.5 pixels, 6 pixels and 12 pixels across 0.75 meters in the object pane. That means:

Detection
1.5 pixels / 0.75m = 2 pixels per meter
Recognition
6 pixels / 0.75m = 8 pixels per meter
Identification
12 pixels / 0.75m = 16 pixels per meter

Assuming that a man is 1.83m by 0.5m, the following would apply:

Human Detection
Detection
3.6 pixels by 1 pixel
(You can see something
is there)
Human Recognition
Recognition
13 pixels by 5 pixels
(You can see that a
person is there)
Human Identification
Identification
28.8 pixels by 8 pixels
(You can see that the
person looks like a soldier)
The Johnson Criteria assumes that the critical dimension for a human being is 0.75 meters. To get DRI, you need 1.5 pixels, 6 pixels and 12 pixels across 0.75 meters in the object pane. That means:

Vehicle Recognition

Boat Detection

Boat Recognition
Recognition
18 pixels by 2 pixels
