Advanced Thermal Imaging Maritime Navigation with the Mariner
Begin Your Excursion with the Power of Thermal Imaging
The ThermoVision Mariner is a powerful thermal imager for maritime navigation, search and rescue, and security applications. With thermal imaging, the Mariner gives navigators the ability to see in total darkness, through light fog, and smoke at a reasonable price. Unlike night vision scopes that require low amounts of light to provide an image, the ThermoVision Mariner system features the same thermal imaging technology used by the military.
See Everything Regardless of Lighting Conditions
The Mariner makes navigation safer, by allowing you see obstructions, buoys, and other vessels at night, regardless of lighting conditions. The Mariner can also be used for search and rescue and security applications.

Highly Sensitive Thermal Imager
See clearly in total darkness, light fog, and through smoke with the same advanced military technology used by the US Government; superior to night vision technology. This amazing technology is ideal for search and rescue applications, night time navigation, and much more.
Automatic Image Optimization
Advanced internal camera software delivers a crisp image without the need for user adjustments. Your crisp thermal images and video will provide accurate and clear representation of all obstructions. With a wide field of view the FLIR Mariner offers excellent situational awareness and orientation for navigation in the maritime environment.
Pan/Tilt Operation
Follow and browse the horizon using the joystick operation for your Mariner. The intuitive joystick that comes with your FLIR Mariner allows you to see 450° horizontally (left to right), and -20° to 50° vertically (up and down). It is also possible to configure your controls in a "Dual Control" setup, this allows for two separate joystick control stations. Also note, the internal brake system, that will hold firmly on its target.
Exclusive Clutch-A-Matic drive design
Protects drive feature against overload; camera head can be moved manually without damaging drive unit.
Video Output
The system will display video on any common LCD or CRT monitor or multi-function (i.e. chart plotter) display that accepts composite video.
Sealed and Marinized
Corrosion resistant housing protects drive motors and assures long life. The marinized enclosure ensures the optimal operating conditions and protective housing for your Mariner. A sleek, and tough exterior leaves the Mariner a reliable component to your vessel.
