The PTZ-35x140-MS is a versatile thermal infrared and visible security and surveillance system that employs a powerful image presentation concept found in human vision. This will detect any heat signatures for short and long range targets. Night vision will never compare to the power of FLIR's thermal cameras.
The Foveus concept provides high resolution at the center of the scene, without sacrificing a wide field of view, critical to security applications for situational awareness. Foveus delivers fast threat detection, continuous zooming between lens settings in both thermal and visible imagers, and an array of networking capabilities.
One of the drawbacks of long range camera systems and dual fi eld of view systems is
that when the observer is monitoring an area in a wide fi eld of view, long range detection
is sacrifi ced because of resolution.
Conversely, when searching in narrow field of view,
there is a “soda straw” effect that reduces situational awareness and target orientation.
The Foveal concept solves this problem by presenting both long range detail and wide
situational awareness together in one scene.

Operators can build panaramas, slew longer range sensorys to areas of interest, set up alarms with audible or email alerts and orient their camera scenes with Sky Eye View referencing.
