The SR-35, SR-50, and SR-100 comprise a family of rugged, medium- to long-range thermal security cameras with fields-of-view ranging from 20° (SR-35) to 7° (SR-100).
They have 35mm, 50mm and 100mm lenses, respectively, and a 2x E-Zoom function. The SR-Series cameras are passive thermal imaging systems that need no external illumination, whether from visible lights or infrared illuminators.
The SR-100 is Pelco D compatible, supports RS-232 and -422 interfaces, and integrators can insert all SR-Series cameras into existing networks or use them as portable, stand alone, camera solutions.
The low cost TVIS surveillance camera system is designed to fit inside a Pelco environmental enclosure – allowing industry-leading thermal imaging capability to be added to existing or new security systems.
Two camera choices and several lens options are available to meet most needs. With prices starting under $10K, ‘affordable’ and ‘thermal imaging’ can now be mentioned in the same sentence.
Covert, Low-Power Detection
The TVIS is a passive thermal system that allows detection of intruders without the use of infrared illuminators.
Based on microbolometer infrared sensor technology, TVIS thermal cameras are designed to view long-wave infrared, allowing them to sense the thermal radiation of objects and people in a scene.
No active illumination is needed – making covert surveillance effortless. Additionally, power consumption of FLIR thermal imagers is very low compared to infrared illuminators with the same coverage area.
Outperforms Daylight Cameras
Thermal imagers reveal a clear picture, day or night, in situations where CCTV cameras or active illumination using near-infrared (NIR) would be insufficient.
Thermal imaging is superior to NIR and CCTV cameras because it sees through both darkness and visual obscurants, such as smoke and fog, without additional lighting.
The ThermoVision Integration Series imagers incorporate easily with common power and video interfaces found in existing and new security systems.
The small size of the TVIS makes it comparable in size to CCTV sensors allowing for easy substitution in the Pelco EH2508 enclosure. A sealed lens maintains the environmental ratings of the existing enclosure and eliminates the additional cost of a special infrared window.
