Thermal video brings new possibilities...     |    2008-05-29

D-SeriesToday's Topics:
"Indoor Thermal Imaging"
"Multi-Sensor Thermal Imaging"

Indoor Thermal Imaging: As the demand for low cost thermal imaging cameras increases, the technology also changes and applies to hundreds of different applications. The new D-Series Indoor Thermal Pan-Tilt camera is the perfect example of a low cost thermal camera meeting indoor applications.

To start, the unit is affordable and compact. It allows 100 degrees /sec panning speed for quick maneuvering and capturing of moving objects. The D-Series is programmable for up to 32 preset positions and is available in a 6mm or 19mm lens configuration.

The system is also Pelco D compatible for easy integration and control. This powerful thermal imager compliments and completes your indoor security camera network in many ways.

Multi-Sensor Thermal Imaging: Thermal imaging cameras have begun to include multiple optic devices for detection and dynamic surveillance applications. Multi-sensor thermal imagers are a unique and essential addition to your CCTV type of imaging system. WideEye II

WideEye II: The FLIR WideEye II provides a real-time panoramic 180 degrees field of view with the ability to detect a person in total darkness up to 150 meters away. This Multi Sensor system incorporates (3) 640 x 480 Thermal Sensors as well as (3) Hi-Resolution Color CCD Cameras for day light operation.

The amazingly wide field of view is ideal for large area monitoring, where pan-tilt cameras alone can miss events. The unit can also be used effectively as a wide angle reference camera in a camera tracking system.

The system features high sensitivity thermal imaging, which can detect heat signatures from people, vehicles, and events in darkness, fog, and smoke.

No other sensor offers advanced performance in such a small package. Night vision cameras never compare to the effect of thermal imaging

SR-35x140-MSSR-35x140-MS: The SR-35x140-MS is especially developed for security applications. It is a powerful, multi-sensor, mid-range thermal imaging system. It features 2 thermal imaging cameras and one daylight/low light camera.

One thermal imager has wide angle field of view at 20 degrees, which is ideal for situational awareness. The other with the narrow field of view at 5 degrees is designed for mid-range target recognition.

The SR-35x140-MS allows you to detect objects, the size of a human being, more than 2 km. away, in total darkness, through smoke, light fog and the most adverse weather conditions. With the built-in IP video server the SR-35x140 MS can be integrated in any existing TCP/IP network and controlled over a PC.

HRC-MSHRC-MS: The HRC Multi-Sensor (MS) is a powerful, sophisticated multi-sensor system designed for demanding and extremely long-range security and surveillance applications. In its MS configuration, it joins the HRC's high-resolution, cooled continuous zoom thermal camera to a high performance TV camera with a long-range lens.

Optional GPS, Digital Magnetic Compass and Laser Rangefinder payloads are also available. The combination of these sensors allows operators to precisely geo-locate objects of interest, and display their position as an overlay on a digital map.

VSR-6: A NEW Low-Cost Thermal Imaging System!    |    2008-01-09

The VSR-6 is an extremely affordable thermal imager. It provides crisp and clear thermal imagery in total darkness, light fog or smoke. It features the same thermal imaging technology found in many of our most sophisticated security and surveillance systems, but is packaged for users who have short-range security and surveillance as their primary application.

It includes advanced image processing techniques which deliver excellent contrast regardless of scene dynamics. Unlike other night vision systems that require low amounts of light to generate an image, the VSR-6 needs no light at all. The system is very lightweight, and it can be mounted at an optimal observation point providing a maximum field of view. The camera is easy-to-install and easy-to-use.  Learn More »

HRC-40x480: The World's first Continuous Zoom Long-Rage Thermal Image System    |    2007-08

The first continuous zoom thermal imaging system in the world! ThermalVideo.com presents the new HRC-40x480 as one of the most high-end thermal imaging systems in the world.

The High Resolution, Cooled (HRC) 40x480 is an extremely long-range thermal security camera with a 640x480 pixel array that can detect heat signatures from a man-sized threat up to 8.2 miles away. Security/Surveillance operators can utilize the HRC-40x480 as a portable stand-alone system, or integrate it into a network of fixed-site sensors through the flexible Nexus server. It's Pelco D compatible, and supports RS-232 and RS-422 interface communications.

The HRC also features a 12.5x continuous zoom telescope that provides wide area coverage and long-range, high magnification performance. The unit also has a 2X and 4X digital zoom for extreme zoom capability.  Learn More »

The Voyager: A High-End Thermal System Maritime Navigation and Situational Awareness    |    2008-04

Navigating on your vessel at night can always be a serious challenge. Seeing the horizon through the dark is now possible using the technology of thermal imaging. Using heat sensative technology, the Voyager deploys a high performance, gyro stabilized thermal and visible imaging system for maritime navigation, security, and search & rescue.

The Voyager contains a powerful gyro-stabilized multi-sensor thermal imaging system used for versatile threat detection. The thermal side of the camera consists of two thermal sensors that act as the "Foveus" concept. The "Foveus" concept derrives the concept human vision. This allows a higher resolution image at the center of the visible area. This second sensor provides a high resolution in the center of the scene, while keeping a wide field of view. This long-rage capability is critical to security and surveillance applications both on land and sea.

As a high-end, maritime ready, gyro-stabilized, pan tilt, thermal imaging system, this is great for maritime navigation during night or day.  Learn More »
