The Mariner is a powerful thermal imager for maritime navigation, search and rescue, and security applications. Unlike night vision scopes that require low amounts of light to provide an image, the ThermoVision Mariner system features the same thermal imaging technology used by the military.
Pan/Tilt Operation
Follow and browse the horizon using the joystick operation for your Mariner. The intuitive joystick that comes with your FLIR Mariner allows you to pan up to 450° horizontally (left to right), and -20° to +50° vertically (up and down). It is also possible to configure your controls in a "Dual Control" setup, this allows for two separate joystick control stations. Also note, the internal brake system, that will hold firmly on its target.
