The Voyager contains a powerful gyro-stabilized multi-sensor thermal imaging system used for versatile threat detection. The thermal side of the camera consists of two thermal sensors that act as the "Foveus" concept. The "Foveus" concept derrives the concept human vision. This allows a higher resolution image at the center of the visible area. This second sensor provides a high resolution in the center of the scene, while keeping a wide field of view. This long-rage capability is critical to security and surveillance applications both on land and sea.
